According to reports, the new hospital project of Yiyuan County People’s Hospital is the largest single public-service investment project in Yiyuan County since its establishment, covering a planned site of 253 mu and with a total investment of RMB 750 million.
Phase I of the project comprises the inpatient and medical-technical building, while Phase II includes the outpatient and medical-technical building, the women’s and children’s specialty building, the integrated medical-care building, the administrative and logistics building, the infectious-diseases specialty building, the hyperbaric oxygen chamber building, and ancillary facilities. Given the project’s specialized medical applications, in addition to stringent quality standards for waterproofing construction, even higher requirements are imposed on waterproofing materials with respect to environmental protection indicators and service life.
