Honhstar | The Special Training on Self-Healing Waterproof System Concludes Successfully
The self-healing waterproofing system is an original achievement independently designed by Honhstar. This system not only involves the R&D and improvement of waterproof materials, but also demonstrates innovations in the structural design and construction technology of the waterproofing system, featuring excellent properties such as self-repair, self-healing, self-locking water, and effective elimination of water-bridging layers.

On the morning of September 29, the specialized training on Honhstar’s self-healing waterproofing system kicked off in the company’s conference room. The training covered the basic theoretical knowledge and construction techniques of the self-healing waterproofing system, including the operation of drum-unloading machines, glue-melting machines, and spraying machines, as well as the troweling and spraying of non-curing waterproof coatings and the composite application of coating and roll materials.
Sui Yongzong, the company’s Executive Vice President of Administration, provided a brief overview of the self-healing waterproofing system concept, outlined seven initiatives undertaken in recent years to advance this technology, and outlined plans for next year’s efforts in this area: preparing a promotional brochure on the self-healing waterproofing system, organizing several region-specific thematic promotion events, and establishing and refining an engineering laboratory dedicated to the self-healing waterproofing system.
To uphold strict training discipline and enhance the effectiveness of training, Chairman Meng Xianlong has specifically announced the disciplinary measures that will be imposed on individuals who fail to comply with training regulations.
The theoretical training provided a comprehensive overview of the design principles, system configuration and assembly, distinctive innovations, and construction techniques of the self-healing waterproofing system. Teacher Feng Shengli’s clear, concise, and accessible explanations resonated deeply with all participants.
The hands-on training first placed particular emphasis on the operation and safety precautions for equipment such as non-curing drum-removal machines, non-curing hot-melt adhesive machines, and spray coating machines. Subsequently, the instructor provided a detailed on-site demonstration covering application methods such as troweling, spray coating, and roll-to-roll composite coating, followed by group-based practical exercises for all trainees.
