Staying True to Our Original Aspiration, Riding the Waves, and Moving Up Against the Trend — Honhstar Waterproof Holds First-Half 2020 Sales Conference
On July 1, the 2020 first-half sales conference of Honhstar Waterproof was grandly held in the company’s conference room. Meng Xianlong, Chairman of the company, Lu Guanliang, Deputy General Manager, all sales personnel, and representatives from the Jinan branch attended the meeting, which was chaired by Lu Guanliang, Deputy General Manager of Sales.

On July 1, the 2020 first-half sales conference of Honhstar Waterproof was grandly held in the company’s conference room. Meng Xianlong, Chairman of the Board, Lu Guanliang, Deputy General Manager, all sales personnel, and representatives from the Jinan branch attended the meeting, which was chaired by Lu Guanliang, Deputy General Manager of Sales.

First, Sui Yongzong, the company’s Executive Vice President of Administration, underscored the importance of both theoretical knowledge and hands-on training, noting that the company will continue to refine its talent-development system. He then outlined the supporting framework for the “Self-Healing Waterproofing System” across ten key areas: industry–university–research collaboration, theoretical research, innovative R&D, workforce assurance, and others.

Chief Financial Officer Liu Jinxing outlined the financial management standardization system and accounts receivable management for sales in the first half of 2020, and identified the priorities and direction for financial work in the second half of the year.
The Major Projects Department and representatives from all major sales regions will present reports on their sales performance for the first half of 2020 and outline plans for the second half. The presentations will highlight the key priorities and challenges encountered in the first half, and adjust the strategic direction for the second half based on current market conditions.

Lu Guanliang, Deputy General Manager of Sales, highlighted the company’s sales performance and operational status for the first half of the year, urging all Honhstar employees to remain confident and down-to-earth, proactively deepen market penetration and customer service, and further improve brand image, system support, product quality, and process standardization.

Yu Bo, head of the Major Projects Department, emphasized the need to closely monitor industry development trends and market competition, and to strengthen, both strategically and conceptually, improvements in product quality, management, technology, and corporate philosophy, so as to make greater efforts toward achieving our objectives.

Vice President of Sales Sui Xinmao outlined the existing issues and risk mitigation strategies, covering key considerations for contract execution, industry benchmarking, and customer requirements.

Cao Xueshan, Vice President of Sales, emphasized the importance of strengthening effective communication both within and outside the company, resolving issues with high efficiency, and continuously improving the problem-solving system and mechanisms.

Zheng Baolong, Vice President of Production, analyzed and addressed common issues encountered in market applications and shared relevant project case studies.

At the end of the conference, Meng Xianlong, Chairman of Honhstar Waterproof, delivered a concluding speech. He stated that despite the impact of the epidemic in the first half of the year, all Honhstar employees achieved steady development through continuous efforts and hard work. He also urged all staff to constantly enhance their value, be eager to learn, and adopt a more proactive and responsible attitude in serving customers and achieving goals.

To celebrate the 99th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, Honhstar Waterproof held a celebration cocktail party and a work banquet for the first half of 2020. All employees gathered together, raising their glasses in toast, enjoying a harmonious and joyful atmosphere.

Chairman Meng Xianlong delivered a toast, expressing his hope that all Honhstar employees would firmly follow the leadership of the Party, continue to uphold their original aspiration and forge ahead with determination, dare to pioneer and innovate, and perform their duties well in their respective positions. He also thanked everyone for their continuous efforts and dedication, and for growing together with Honhstar.
On the afternoon of July 1, legal knowledge and construction theory training was conducted in the company’s second-floor conference room.

Wei Shujun, the company’s legal counsel, conducted legal training for the sales team and engaged in on-site discussions with attendees regarding practical issues related to sales contracts and associated legal risks.

Feng Shengli, a renowned expert and senior engineer in the waterproofing industry, conducted training for the company’s sales and production staff. Drawing on his many years of practical experience and real-world case studies, Teacher Feng provided a clear, concise, and easy-to-understand overview of the fundamental principles of architectural waterproofing construction, with particular emphasis on the basics and detailing methods for SBS membrane application at internal and external corners as well as around roof penetrations.
