Honhstar | Promoted to the Executive Council Member Unit of the China Building Waterproofing Association and Awarded the JinYu Award

At the first meeting of the eighth council of the Eighth National Congress of Members of the China Building Waterproofing Association held on the morning of the 7th, Meng Xianlong, Chairman of the company, was elected as an executive director. In recent years, Honhstar Waterproofing has emerged as a “dark horse” in the industry, maintaining a trend of rapid and healthy development. At the fifth meeting of the seventh session held in Chengdu in 2018, it was selected as a council member unit; just two years later, it was promoted again to an executive council member unit, which is a testament to the respect and recognition it has earned from its peers in the waterproofing industry.
At the 2020 Construction Waterproofing Industry Annual Conference held on the afternoon of the 7th, industry awards were presented, including 23 “Science and Technology Awards for the Construction Waterproofing Industry—Engineering Technology Award (Jinyu Award).” This award is jointly assessed by the China Construction Waterproofing Association and the editorial board of China Construction Waterproofing magazine and filed with the Office of National Science and Technology Awards. Honhstar’s submission, “Section 1 of the Relocation and Technological Renovation Project of the Tengzhou Cigarette Factory of Shandong China Tobacco Industry Co., Ltd.,” successfully made the shortlist after company application, preliminary review by the association, on-site defense, and expert panel evaluation, achieving outstanding results. This marks the company’s first participation in the Jinyu Award nomination and represents a historic breakthrough, vividly demonstrating the company’s adherence to standardized construction and its commitment to the spirit of craftsmanship. Winning this award signifies that Honhstar has reached a high level in the industry in terms of technological innovation in engineering, innovation in construction methods and processes, project management, and engineering quality.
