In recent years, as Honhstar Waterproof has experienced rapid development, the number of employees has increased dramatically, functional departments have been basically established, and the personnel structure has undergone significant changes. However, unclear role positioning, inadequate performance of roles, and role overstepping are common problems. To address these issues, the company partnered with Shenzhen Zhongxu Enterprise Management Co., Ltd. to tailor a customized program, holding the second internal training session in the company’s main conference room from January 23 to 24. The theme of this training was “Employee Role Competence.”
Zhongxu Company has dispatched its gold-medal instructor, Li Yawei, to lead this training program. Mr. Li not only possesses extensive theoretical knowledge but also boasts a wealth of cross-industry professional experience: he has served as a professional soccer player, a journalist and editor, and a corporate executive; he has even founded his own company, giving him highly practical expertise in business management. Through a tightly integrated, step-by-step approach that moves from role awareness to role positioning and then to role competency, Mr. Li clearly and accessibly explains that “being true to oneself in personal conduct and performing one’s duties with professionalism—only when one’s role is clearly defined and one’s capabilities are fully aligned with the role can one achieve true workplace competence.”

Sub-teams, commitments, and flag presentation

All trainees maintained a serious and upright attitude, consistently displaying high enthusiasm and a positive mental outlook. They eagerly vied with one another to showcase their talents, actively shared their learning insights, and thereby effectively embodied the role of “trainee.”

“One with little virtue but high position, little wisdom but grand plans, and little strength but heavy responsibilities is seldom free from failure.” Finally, Sui Yongzong, the Executive Vice President, concluded the training by quoting Confucius: “Diligence can make up for lack of talent—this is a good teaching. Every comrade should be a promoter of Honhstar’s cause and a problem-solver, fully and gracefully playing their role, and constantly improving their ability to do so on the basis of good intentions.”
