Technological Innovation | Honhstar Ranked Among the Top 20 Innovative Enterprises in China’s Building Waterproofing Industry
From April 25 to 27, the Third Building Waterproofing Technology Innovation Conference was grandly held in Xi’an, co-hosted by China Building Waterproofing Magazine, Sinoma Suzhou Waterproof Research Institute Co., Ltd., and China National Building Material Inspection & Certification Group Suzhou Co., Ltd.
From April 25 to 27, the Third Building Waterproofing Technology Innovation Conference was grandly held in Xi’an, co-hosted by China Building Waterproofing Magazine, Sinoma Suzhou Waterproof Research Institute Co., Ltd., and China National Building Material Inspection & Certification Group Suzhou Co., Ltd.
This conference brought together industry leaders and top experts, with about 350 elite representatives from the waterproofing industry in attendance. During the event, the Science and Technology Innovation Awards were announced, and Honhstar was among the winners, ranking among the Top 20 Chinese Construction Waterproofing Technology Innovation Enterprises.
Ranking Announced
According to reports, the 2019–2020 “Survey and Evaluation of Technological Innovation Capabilities of Chinese Building Waterproofing Enterprises” targeted 121 large-scale waterproofing enterprises from 29 provinces and municipalities across the country (excluding Tibet and Qinghai). The survey covered 14 sub-indicators under seven major categories: intensity of R&D investment, development of R&D teams, platforms for technological innovation, intellectual property, science and technology projects and honors, funding and policy support for scientific and technological innovation, and the atmosphere of scientific and technological innovation. Each sub-indicator was scientifically quantified and assigned different weights, enabling the calculation of an enterprise’s technological innovation index. Honhstar Waterproof ranked fifteenth. This prestigious recognition fully demonstrates the company’s continuously improving technological innovation capabilities and its leading technical position in the industry.
Technological innovation is the key to driving enterprise development. In recent years, Honhstar has accumulated strength over time and, through a strategy of “internal development and external collaboration,” has focused on building a series of R&D platforms, including an enterprise technology center, a “one enterprise, one technology” R&D center, an engineering laboratory, and an industrial design center. Externally, it has signed industry–university–research cooperation agreements with several well-known domestic institutions to jointly establish technology research centers, securing more than 30 patents and steadily strengthening its technological innovation capabilities. It has successively been awarded titles such as High-tech Enterprise, China Construction Waterproof Industry Golden Yu Award, China Construction Waterproof Industry Technological Progress Award, Shandong Province Specialized, Sophisticated, Distinctive and Novel Enterprise, Shandong Province Hidden Champion Enterprise, and Shandong Province Outstanding Achievement in Enterprise Technological Innovation.
