A glorious century of the Party—setting sail on a new journey for the times! On the occasion of the Party’s centenary, in order to solemnly commemorate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, review the Party’s glorious history, sing praises for its outstanding achievements, and further invigorate the Party organizations and members of our company, on the morning of June 30, the Honhstar Waterproofing Party Branch held a “Celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the Party” and July 1 Commendation Event in the company’s Party Member Activity Room. The event was chaired by Meng Xianping, Secretary of the Party Branch, with active participation from all Party members, prospective Party members, and some members of the general public.
Reaffirming the Party Oath
Standing in solemn silence before the Party flag, I solemnly swear: “I voluntarily join the Communist Party of China, uphold the Party’s program, abide by its constitution, fulfill my duties as a Party member, implement the Party’s decisions, strictly observe Party discipline, safeguard Party secrets, remain loyal to the Party, work diligently, dedicate my entire life to the cause of communism, and stand ready at all times to sacrifice everything for the Party and the people—never betraying the Party.” Through this solemn oath, I will always keep firmly in mind the pledge I made upon joining the Party and the solemn commitment I have sworn to the Party and the people, striving for excellence in my daily work and bravely taking the lead.
Speech by the Branch Secretary
Meng Xianping, Secretary of the Party Branch, led everyone in revisiting the century-long journey of the Party’s founding, recalling how the Communist Party of China has grown from a “small red boat” on South Lake to a “majestic giant ship” in the new era, guiding the Chinese people from “standing up” to “becoming prosperous” and then to “becoming strong”—a magnificent leap over the past hundred years. By learning from history, we can stay true to our original aspiration. Only by understanding where we come from can we know where we are going. He emphasized that today’s happy life has been hard-earned, and we should keep the Party’s century-long history firmly in mind, forge ahead with determination, draw wisdom and strength from the Party’s century-long struggle to continue moving forward, and truly enhance our sense of responsibility, mission, and urgency in our work, so as to contribute new strength to Honhstar’s high-quality development.
Commend Outstanding Role Models
Finally, Secretary Meng Xianping read out the “Decision on Commending Outstanding Role Models” and the corresponding list of awardees, and presented awards to the selected outstanding Party members and model learners.

At 12:00 noon, a grand banquet celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China was held at Honhstar. Chairman Meng Xianlong delivered a toast.
