Abstract:

A self-adhesive waterproofing membrane made of polymer-modified asphalt as the base material, intended for non-exposed applications, available either without a reinforcing ply or with a polyester reinforcement. The product is classified according to the presence or absence of a reinforcing ply into two categories: no-ply (N type) and polyester-reinforced (PY type). Based on the top-surface material, the N type is further divided into polyethylene film (PE), polyester film (PET), and filmless double-sided self-adhesive (D); the PY type is divided into polyethylene film (PE), fine sand (s), and filmless double-sided self-adhesive (D).

　　A self-adhesive waterproofing membrane made of polymer-modified asphalt as the base material, either without a reinforcing layer for non-exposed applications or with a polyester reinforcement layer.

　　Products are classified into non-reinforced (N type) and polyester-reinforced (PY type) based on the presence or absence of a base reinforcement.

　　Based on the top-surface material, Class N is divided into polyethylene film (PE), polyester film (PET), and filmless double-sided self-adhesive (D); Class PY is divided into polyethylene film (PE), fine sand (s), and filmless double-sided self-adhesive (D).
