Polyurethane waterproof coating for direct application as a waterproofing layer in high-speed rail projects

Polyurethane waterproof coatings used directly as the waterproofing layer on high-speed railways, as well as those used for bonding waterproof membranes on such railways, are classified as high-speed-rail-specific (high-strength) polyurethane waterproof coatings. These are two-component, chemically reactive waterproof coatings: Component A is an isocyanate-terminated pre-polymer obtained by the polycondensation of polyols and isocyanates, while Component B is a colored liquid composed of reinforcing agents, plasticizers, thickeners, and accelerators. During application, Components A and B are mixed in the prescribed ratio until uniformly blended, then applied to the waterproof substrate. Upon ambient-temperature crosslinking and curing, they form a high-strength, highly extensible, rubbery elastic coating film.

Single-component polyurethane waterproof coating

A curable, film-forming coating formulated primarily from isocyanates and polyethers, with various additives. It can be applied normally on damp, water-saturated substrates.
